Academic Hebrew D is an advanced textbook developed specifically for focused preparation for the YAEL exam and for academic studies in Israel. It is intended for upper-intermediate to advanced learners who wish to strengthen their academic reading comprehension and writing skills in Hebrew.
The book features a collection of original reading passages that closely reflect the style and level of texts found in the YAEL exam and in academic contexts. The texts cover a range of fields, including society and culture, education, science, music, and Israeli cultural topics.
Each passage is accompanied by reading comprehension questions in an authentic exam format, language exercises, and writing tasks. Together, these components are designed to gradually develop academic thinking, linguistic accuracy, and confidence in dealing with complex Hebrew texts.
Academic Hebrew D is suitable for independent study, YAEL preparation courses, and guided learning with a teacher. It is a natural continuation of the Academic Hebrew series developed by Ulpan Adi, based on the Keys to Hebrew teaching method
